I’ve been practicing Bikram Yoga for about 10 months now and have always used a regular bath towel. I’m curious about the Skidless Yoga Towels – do they make a big difference? I don’t really want to fork out the $50 for one only to find its no different than the bath towel I’ve been using.

I have used both and could not find much difference. Other way is to experiment with the range of bath towels. How thin /coarse/smooth the bath towel is can also have the same effect and you spend much less.

I’m starting to do Bikram yoga (hot yoga). I have a regular sticky mat and a manduka towel, but I’d like to get a yoga mat more suited to Bikram. What brand/mat do you recommend?

The Manduka is always a good choice but it is much more costly compared to other mats.

I am interested in trying bikram yoga, but I’m afraid I may not be healthy enough. I have low blood pressure so I’m afraid I’ll be even more prone to lightheadedness and fainting during class than most people.
